Imo State Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mrs. Rubby Emele, would formally present a book on local government administration, “Evolution, Reforms and Practice in Nigeria’ on August 25 at the Immaculate Royal Hotel New Owerri.
Written by Chukwuma Nwachukwu, an economic development strategist, it offers insights on how to reposition local government administration in Nigeria.
According to Austin Onwubiko, managing director, Africana First Publishers, the publisher, “The book apart from being a body of insights, is a deftly written account and the most valuable compendium on the trajectory of local government administration in Nigeria. It also offers insights on how to reposition local government administration.”
Mr Joe Anosike, Managing Director Survicom Ltd is expected to present the book.
