‎Ghanaian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and social media influencer, Gifty Mensah, known by the stage name, Adwoaprettyy, has revealed how she overcame cyber bullying, describing it as her  greatest challenges which was the most significant hurdle in her path to success.

‎In a recent interview, Mensah reflected on her journey as one of Ghana’s fastest-rising stars. She shared the challenges faced, stating, “Cyberbullying was my first challenge, which I overcame with time.”

‎This resilience, Mensah explained, was crucial in winning over critics and paving the way for her current achievements. She said she is  now reaping the rewards of her dedication, gaining significant financial benefits, popularity, and fame. “I feel proud of myself for coming this far because content creation is not easy, but I fought for it and for the fame. I still haven’t reached my goal, but I’m  proud of my achievements,” she said.

‎Mensah also explained the origin of her stage name  `adwoaprettyy`. “Adwoa is the local name for females who are born on Mondays in Ghana. The name pretty is the name of my Charity Organization (Pretty charity foundation LBG) which was established in 2024,” she said.

‎She said her journey began with a childhood love for performing and watching herself, evolving into a passion for content creation and helping the less privileged. She is skilled in acting and content creation, but said that her “love for the poor and needy” led her to establish the Pretty Charity Foundation which supports orphanages, hospitals, and individuals living on the streets.

‎Mensah acknowledged the pressures she faces, noting the challenge of “hardly having free time because millions of people are waiting for new content.” However, she views this as part of the pathway to greater influence and resources, which she said enables her to expand her to help more people.

‎She said her parents were initially unaware of her entertainment career until they unexpectedly saw her featured on television.
