The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adewale Adeniyi, on Monday charged the new management members of the Service to redouble their efforts as expectations of them were high.
He gave the charge while decorating the newly-appointed Assistant Comptroller Generals and Deputy Comptroller Generals of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) with their new ranks.

The event was attended by spouses of the promoted officers and their colleagues.
Adeniyi noted that their appointments secured the nod of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and tasked them to live above board in all they do.
He said their hard work would help in attaining Customs mission and vision.
He harped on the need to work hard to boost revenue generation, especially as the nation trudges through an era of economic depression.
“There is much we can do in Customs to add more impetus and vigour to boost the economy and promote ease of doing business.
“You need to live up to societal expectations. We’re supposed to be upfront in offering service. “When we do, we should do it excellently. Wherever you find yourself after deployment, know you’re needed to work hard to achieve goals. We shall rub minds to achieve goals. Consolidation and innovation are key”, he said.
Responding on behalf of all the decorated officers, DCG Festus Okon assured the President and Customs CG of hard work to justify the confidence reposed in them.
