The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin has said that his empowerment programs were modelled after and inspired by the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
Barau, who represents Kano North Senatorial District announced this in Kano during the occasion of the distribution on 47 Sharon cars and 287 motorcycles to the members of his constituents.
Beneficiaries of the vehicles and motorcycles included APC local government chiarmen, their secretaries and other members of the Kano North Senatorial District.
Represented by the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hopes Agenda, Salihu Sagir Takai, the Deputy Senate President disclosed that the vehicles and motorcycles were intended to better the lives of the beneficiaries.

He said the exercise was not the first of his human capital intervention while assuring that the intervention would not be the last.
Chief of Staff to the Deputy President of the Senate, Muhammad Bn Abdullahi, also spoke. He admitted that the intervention was designed to make the beneficiaries self -reliant.
“Kano North Senatorial District is blessed with the Deputy President of the Senate who has continued to empower his constituents and make life easier for those who benefits from his support”.
He appealed to beneficiaries not to dispose the of the vehicles and motorcycles but to use them to generate incomes and better living standards for their people.
