The group applauded Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, for the commendable move saying that it would also create jobs for the teeming youths.
The policy, according to the governor, is to help promote the use of locally made products instead of foreign ones, and from there boost indigenous businesses.
President General of COSEYL, Goodluck Ibem, said the policy portrays the governor as a lover of his country who desires its growth and development.
According to the youth leader, Otti’s action would help restore Nigeria’s pride in the comity of nations as well as move it towards becoming a productive rather than a consuming economy.
He urged members of Abia State House of Assembly, who were said to have rejected similar brands of vehicles to have a re-think, since they were elected to serve the people to attain socio economic growth and development.
