Governor Alex Otti, OFR, has eulogized the leadership of the Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Senator Azuta Mbata for its purposeful leadership, affirming his continuous support for apex Igbo group.
Otti made the commendation and pledged his support when he received in audience the new leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide led by the National Deputy President-General, Prince Okey Nwadinobi
The Governor said the Senator Mbata led administration has not disappointed the people, adding that he gave him support because he knew he (Mbata) would not disappoint.
“We are very happy with the progress that has been made so far.
“Why you got the support is because we know who you are, we know you have the capacity to do the job. And one year after, I am sure that we are not disappointed.

“So, let him know that we understand and we can see the work the leadership doing.”
He congratulated Ohanaeze for the National Secretariat that is nearing completion and assured that he would be part of the Commissioning.
Otti equally applauded the Ohanaeze leadership for the draft constitution that will soon be approved.
The National President-General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Azuta – Mbata, represented by the National Deputy President General, Prince Okey Nwadinobi had earlier thanked the Governor for the role he played in bringing him to serve Ndi Igbo.
He commended Governor Alex Otti for changing the narratives in Governance and restoring the dignity of the Abia people.
