A tanker, fully loaded with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), on Saturday caused panic at Ijabe in Odo-Otin Local Government of Osun State when it caught fire.
The 33,000-litre tanker prevented vehicular movement on the highway that links Osun state with Kwara state.
The cause of the fire outbreak that occurred in the afternoon was not ascertained at the time of filing this report.

The incident caused panic as drivers and passengers left their properties and
scampered for safety.
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kehinde Adeleke, confirmed the incident.
She said efforts have been made to rescue the situation, assuring that it was under control.
