Osun IPAC Chairman hails appointments of COAS, Customs CG

The Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council in Osun State, Mr Wale Adebayo has sent a congratulatory message to two Osun indigenes who were appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday.
Tinubu had approved the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, Comptroller-General of Customs from Service as well as their replacements with immediate effect.
In a statement signed by Adebayo, he described the appointments of Maj. Taoreed Lagbaja as Chief of Army Staff and Acting Customs Controller General Bashir Adewale Adeniyi as exemplary and a shining examples of leadership.
“Major General Taoreed  Lagbaja hails from Ilobu, in Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State, while the Acting Controller General is from Modakeke, in Ife East Area Office.
Adebayo charged the two illustrious sons of Osun State to discharge their duties with utmost decency and professionalism.
He said “the President has reposed so much confidence in them and I trust they will live up to expectations and the admiration of all Nigerians.
“I urge the two Ambassadors of our state to see their appointments as a call to serve the nation”, Adebayo added.
