The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, warned politicians not to incite the youths and avoid desperation in the coming governorship election.
He said the politicians should know that they are not greater than the state, and advised them to leave every decision to God.
The monarch promised that traditional rulers will play their roles, saying “we want to assure you that we will work with you. We will continue to be neutral and unbiased. We will continue to talk to the politicians to let them know that Osun is greater than them.”
