Supporters of incumbent Governor and candidate of Accord Party in the Osun governorship election, Senator Ademola Adeleke took to the streets after he claimed victory in his polling unit on Saturday afternoon.
Adeleke secured 421 votes at Ward 02, Polling Unit 009, Abogunde Compound, Ede North Local Government Area.
Videos that circulated on social media show supporters of the governor in jubilant mood as they celebrate the victory.

Meanwhile, civil society organisation, CLEEN Foundation said the governorship election recorded a largely calm security environment in the opening hours of voting, but technical failures involving the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), reported vote-buying and isolated violence threatened to disrupt the process.
In a preliminary report, the foundation also said security officials generally demonstrated professionalism, neutrality and readiness.
