Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, disclosed its readiness to embark on mock accreditation in three senatorial districts in Osun State ahead of the July 16 governorship election.
A statement by its Public Affairs Officer, Oluwaseun Osimosu, in Osogbo, explained that the exercise was part of efforts to ensure a hitch-free governorship election.
It said the exercise would take place between July 4 and 5 in six local government areas which include two registration areas/wards from each of the three senatorial districts across the state.
In Osun central, the exercise would hold in Boripe and Osogbo local government areas while it would take place at Ile-Ife in Ife East and Yakoyo in Ife North, for Osun East senatorial district.
Ede South and Egbedore local government areas were selected in Osun West senatorial district for the exercise.
