Osun APM holds primaries for State Assembly, House of Reps, Senate
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Osun State has conducted its primaries to elect candidates to fly the party’s flag for State House of Assembly. House of Representatives and Senate at the 2023 general elections.
The party conducted the election at the various constituencies across the 30 local government areas of the state.
The primaries elected 26 candidates for state Assembly and 9 candidates for House of Representatives and 3 candidates for Senate.
Some of the flag bearers for the Senate seats include: Adebayo Simon Adewale(Osun Central), a female, Abioye Abolawa Abigail( Osun East) and Olasupo Ibraheem Olanrewaju( Osun West)
The Party Chairman in his welcome address at the state convention attacked the two major parties, the Peoples Democratic party and All Progressives Congress, for their failure to bring the desired development to the country within the past twenty two years they were in power.
Adebayo also chastised the Governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola over his refusal to conduct local government elections.
