An officer of the Osun Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, Eluwande Demilade, in Ife South Local Government, has slumped and died in his cocoa farm.
It was gathered that the incident happened last Saturday, and the family of the deceased has taken the body for burial at Ajidara, Ile ife. Findings showed that the wife of the deceased was with him on their cocoa farm when the incident happened.
Daily Sun gathered that the deceased was plucking cocoa on his farm before he slumped and died immediately. The wife of the deceased confirmed that there was controversy over the cocoa farm between her husband and some people who might have laced the farm with charms.
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kehinde Adeleke, confirmed the incident. The Commander of Osun Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, Brigadier General Bashir Adewimbi (retd), who also confirmed the incident, said there was no detailed report about the incident.
