The Western Security Network Agency, “Amotekun” Osun State Command, yesterday, disclosed that it has arrested two people, Oladipupo Segun (40), and Wale Samuel (40) and recovered 18 goats allegedly stolen from them.
A statement made available to Daily Sun by the Media Director, Amotekun Corps, Yusuf Idowu, alleged that the suspects have been stealing goats and selling them in Lagos. He explained that the suspects were arrested when they were going to Lagos after successfully stealing the goats.
He said the suspects confessed to the crime, adding that they had stolen 56 goats in the last months and sold them to a woman who always gave them N10,000 after every trip.
“It was also gathered that one Mrs Oladipupo “Mame E” who lives in the Mile 12 area of Lagos State bought an MPV Mazda car for the suspects, purposely for the job,” Amotekun stated.
He said the suspects would be handed over to the security agents for further investigation.
