Over 1000 business owners benefit from Osun free medical check-up

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has reiterated his commitment to ensuring healthcare delivery to the people of the state.
Speaking at the free medical check-up organised by the state government in collaboration with the Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS) and powered by the Electronics Collection Group (ECG), which was held in the nine federal constituencies of the state, Adeleke, who was represented by the acting Chairman of OIRS, Hon. Solanke Hamzat, said the business owners are special to the government because of their contributions to the economy of the state.
He said, “This initiative/exercise showcases the OIRS customer-centric approach and demonstrates its commitment to supporting the health status of business owners through this free medical check-up, affirming this generosity is Osun State Government’s way of giving back to the tax-paying business community. In all, over 1000 business owners are benefiting from this gesture.”
He expressed appreciation to the business owners for their commitment, dedication, trust, and love for the present government and for trooping out en masse for the free check-up.
He urged them to continue to have confidence in the present administration, saying, “This gesture will offer much-needed support to business owners and entrepreneurs with underlying ailments of any kind without knowing.
“I am very happy to see thousands of people coming to partake in this exercise. It shows that the relationship between you and Mr Governor is cordial,” Hamzat said.
The medical outreach was held in Osogbo, Ikire, Iwo, Ilesa, Ijebu-Jesa, Ila, Ede, Ikirun, and Ife to ease the movement of participants to the venues.
The event was attended by government officials, including the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Market Affairs, Hon. Lukman Moyoade, management and staff of the Osun Internal Revenue Service, and other stakeholders.
