Osun 2027: Tinubu wins APC primary with 100,880 votes

President Bola Tinubu has been declared the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held in Osun State on Saturday.

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, who served as coordinator/returning officer, announced the result of the primary in Osogbo.

He declared that President Tinubu got 100,880 votes, while Mr Stanley Osayamen Osifo scored zero votes.

Oyetola commended members of the electoral committee, polling officials, security agencies, youth and women groups, as well as every stakeholder whose dedication, cooperation and vigilance ensured the smooth, transparent, credible and hitch-free conduct of the exercise across the state.

He said the successful primary election further reinforced the position of the APC in Osun as a united, focused and forward-looking political family, fully committed to the continued progress, stability and development of Nigeria under the purposeful leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“I shall now present the official results of the presidential primary election as collated in Osun State.

“Total digitally registered members of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State: 109,806.

“Total accredited members for today’s presidential primary election: 100,880.

“His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR — 100,880 votes.

“Mr Stanley Osayamen Osifo — 0 votes (zero votes).

“By the powers vested in me as the collation officer for Osun State, I hereby declare His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as the winner of the All Progressives Congress presidential primary election 2026 in Osun State.

“As we move forward, I urge all members of our great party to remain steadfast, united and committed to the collective task before us.

“The journey ahead requires sacrifice, unity of purpose and sustained mobilisation as we work together towards another decisive electoral victory for our great party, beginning with the forthcoming governorship election on August 15, 2026.

“Let us continue to uphold the ideals of our party and remain resolute in our commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous and more united Nigeria,” Oyetola said.
