A youth leader in Ilesa East LGA, Hon. Famokun Akindele has congratulated Hon. Oluwole Busayo Oke on his appointment as the State Director General of the Osun APC 2026 AMBO Campaign.

This is contained in a Friday statement sent to SunOnline.

In the August 15, 2026 governorship election, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyabimiji is seeking to stop Governor Ademola Adeleke of Accord Party from winning a second term.

Akindele said Oke’s appointment to lead the state APC campaign efforts is “well-deserved”.

He added, “This distinguished appointment is a clear recognition of his wealth of experience, political sagacity, and his commitment to the progressive movement in Osun State.

“His emergence at this critical period further strengthens confidence in the strategic direction, unity, and capacity of the campaign to deliver resounding success.”

Akindele also hailed Omo-Oba Dotun Babayemi on his appointment as Director General, Osun West; Prince Adeleke Banik as Director General, Osun Central; and Thomas Ogungbamigbe as Director General, Osun East.

He stated that these appointments were not only well merited but also reflective of their consistent contributions, grassroots influence, and dedication to the growth and stability of the party.

“This strategic composition of leadership across the three senatorial districts undoubtedly represents a bold step toward building a formidable, coordinated, and result-oriented campaign structure.

“There is strong confidence that their collective experience, unity of purpose, and deep understanding of the political terrain will further galvanize support, strengthen party cohesion, and ensure effective mobilization at all levels.

“At a time when visionary leadership, discipline, and strategic coordination are paramount, these appointments signal a renewed commitment to consolidating party strength, expanding its reach, and securing victory in the forthcoming 2026 elections.

“The task ahead is significant, but with the calibre of leadership entrusted with this responsibility, success remains both achievable and assured,” he added.
