The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Chairman of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc and former Chief Executive for Africa Regions, Standard Bank Group, Sola David-Borha and frontline Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general elections in Liberia, Madam MacDella Cooper will lead other key speakers to the international conference on “Africa’s Economy: The Way Forward.”
The conference which holds at the Newark City Hall, Newark, New Jersey, United States of America (USA), today, Saturday, October 22, 2023, will start at (9:00AM EST)/(2:00 PM WAT) prompt.
In a statement by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Global Patriot newspapers, Simon Ibe, the conference will also feature as speakers, Dr. Akil Khalfani, a political activist and Professor of Sociology at the Essex County College, Newark, New Jersey, and Monsignor (Dr.) Anselm Nwaorgu, the first Native-African-born priest to be made a monsignor in the United States Catholic Church and the first Executive President of the African Conference of Catholic Clergy and Religious in the United States (ACCCRUS).
Others are: the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey, Ras. J. Baraka, top African diplomats led by Nigeria’s Consul General in New York, Ambassador Lot Egopija and Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa. The event is put together by the newspaper group as a platform for the interrogation of the crises confronting the African economy.
