Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has made his intentions clear after scoring in the heated Istanbul derby against Fenerbahce, insisting he remains confident of finding the net against any opponent as the title race intensifies in Turkey.
The Nigerian forward, who returned to action in style, said his focus is simple deliver goals whenever chances come and keep pushing Galatasaray closer to the championship.
“If I get the chance, I can score against any team. That is my job, and I believe I do it well. We are getting closer to the championship,” Osimhen said after the match.
His strike played a key role in Galatasaray’s win over their biggest rivals, a result that keeps them firmly in control at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen also addressed tensions surrounding the match, including complaints from Fenerbahce before kickoff, brushing them aside as unnecessary distractions.

He said he does not pay attention to social media noise and found the complaints difficult to understand given the competitive nature of the fixture.
“I don’t follow social media, but someone at the training ground mentioned Fenerbahce’s complaint. I don’t understand it. They are playing against one of the best teams in the league. Complaining about something like that doesn’t make much sense,” he added.
The striker’s consistency has become a major factor in Galatasaray’s title push, with his goals repeatedly proving decisive in tight matches.
With the season entering its final stretch, Galatasaray will once again look to Osimhen to deliver in front of goal as they chase domestic glory.
