Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen failed to inspire the squad in his return from injury, as they lost 2-0 to Genclerbirligi in the Turkish Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Osimhen has been out of action for more than a month after injuring his arm against Liverpool in the Champions League.

However, the Super Eagles talisman started the game against Genclerbirligi from the bench.

The Yellow and Reds dominated the game but failed to score. The visitors took the lead in the 51st minute through Firatcan Uzum.

Okan Buruk brought Osimhen on in the 78th minute, as Gala fought for a way back in the tie.

But five minutes after Osimhen’s introduction, Genclerbirligi scored their second through Adama Traore.
