Victor Osimhen made a dream return from injury on Sunday, scoring as Galatasaray thrashed fierce rivals Fenerbahce 3-0 in a crucial Istanbul derby.
The Super Eagles striker, back in action after a spell on the sidelines, opened the scoring in the 40th minute to cap an impressive first-half display from the league leaders.
Fenerbahce had the chance to seize the initiative earlier in the contest, but Anderson Talisca squandered a penalty in the 13th minute, a miss that proved costly.
Galatasaray took full control after the break, especially when Fenerbahce were reduced to 10 men following Ederson’s dismissal in the 62nd minute.
