Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released a strong 24-man squad for Nigeria’s international friendly matches against Poland national football team and Portugal national football team, with key stars Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi headlining the list.
The squad also features experienced names such as Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze, as Chelle continues preparations for upcoming competitive fixtures.
In goal, Maduka Okoye, Arthur Okonkwo and Francis Uzoho were selected to battle for the number one shirt.
The defensive line includes Calvin Bassey, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi and Zaidu Sanusi, while Igoh Ogbu and Emmanuel Fernandez also earned places in the squad.

Chelle’s midfield options include Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Tochukwu Nnadi and Alhassan Yusuf.
The attack will be spearheaded by Osimhen alongside Paul Onuachu, Akor Adams and Terem Moffi.
The two friendly matches are expected to offer the Super Eagles valuable preparation and an opportunity for Chelle to further assess his squad ahead of future international assignments.
