Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu, alongside Nigeria’s promising talent Anthony Dennis, have rightfully earned their places in the Super Lig Team of the Year. The acclaimed Turkish sports outlet, Sporx, has unveiled its Golden Eleven for the Süper Lig for the 2025 calendar year, highlighting the top performers while also noting seven exceptional players who were notably left out of this prestigious lineup.

Osimhen has been crowned the uncontested star of Turkish football in 2025. His presence on the field has been nothing short of dominating, showcasing why he is an unparalleled force in the league. As the driving force behind Galatasaray’s championship victory and their stellar performance over the year, Osimhen’s transfer fee stands as the highest in Turkish football history, underscoring his immense talent and value.

Meanwhile, Anthony Dennis, who Göztepe acquired from Abuja’s youth academy in January 2023, has quickly established himself as a vital asset. Since his promotion to the first team just six months in, Dennis has played a pivotal role, taking the pitch in nearly every match and consistently demonstrating his ‘warrior’ mentality in midfield.

The starting eleven also features standout players: Goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakir, Oleksandr Zubkov, Marco Asensio, Baris Alper Yilmaz, Lucas Torreira, Eren Elmali, Milan Skriniar, Davinson Sanchez, and Zeki Yavru. Meanwhile, Paul Onuachu, Leroy Sane, Christ Oulai, Gedson Fernandes, and Anderson Talisca made the reserve list.

Onuachu, the Nigerian sensation at Trabzonspor, has made an impressive start since joining for the 2025/26 season, netting 11 goals and contributing 1 assist in 15 league matches. Had he been a part of the team from the onset of the year, he would have posed a significant challenge to Osimhen’s dominance.
