Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been named Footballer of the Year at the 72nd Annual Milliyet Sports Awards.
The Milliyet Sports Awards are regarded as one of the most significant honours in Turkey.
Osimhen was a vital player in Galatasaray’s domestic double last season.

The Nigerian international registered 26 goals and four assists in 30 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds.
The 27-year-old added seven more in the UEFA Europa League and five in the Turkish Cup.
This season, the striker has 19 goals and seven assists in 29 games across all competitions for Galatasaray.
