Asisat Oshoala has written her name in the history book of NWSL club Bay FC after she scored the club’s first-ever goal in the league for them to beat hosts Angel City FC.
The former Barcelona striker scored 17 minutes into her debut to claim victory for the newly acquired team to become the first player to score their first-ever goal in the league.
“My career has been all about making history, doing crazy things, and I’m very happy to be part of the history of the club,” said Oshoala, who recently transferred from European champions Barcelona Femeni.
‘Agba Baller’ Oshoala is the six-time winner of the CAF Player of the Year.
