Osborn Umahi, son of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, has joined his father in mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Photographs from the campaign gathering showed Osborn alongside his father and other participants as efforts intensify to secure support for Tinubu in the South-East.

The development comes as David Umahi steps up mobilisation for the President’s re-election, expressing confidence that Tinubu will win a second term in office.

Speaking in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, on Sunday, the minister predicted that Tinubu and Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru would secure 95 per cent of the votes in the 2027 elections.

“President Bola Tinubu is going to win a second term. Governor Francis Nwifuru is going to win a second term,” Umahi said.

Umahi also said the campaign would involve direct engagement with voters, including visits to their homes to communicate the party’s message.

According to him, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is prepared to intensify its mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections.

“They will go to people’s homes early in the morning and share their messages,” he said.

Osborn’s appearance alongside his father comes amid preparations for the 2027 elections. However, details of any specific responsibilities he may have in the campaign, including whether he holds an official position within the campaign structure, were not provided.
