Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has arrived the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, IBB square, venue of the inauguration of the batch b members of the State Community Volunteer Guards, SCVG.
Recall that the first batch of the Volunteer Guards, numbering 500, were inaugurated on August 4, 2022.
The batch b which are over 1000 are holding their passing-out parade to join the first 500 in assisting the conventional security agents to provide security in the state.
As at the time of filing this report, Governor Samuel Ortom, flanked by some members of his executive council, were inspecting the guards on parade.
