Chairman, Senate Committee on South East Development, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, in the company of Chinese billionaire and Chairman of GCL Group, Zhu Gongshan, visited the Dangote Petroleum & Petrochemical on Friday.
Both men held fruitful discussions with Alhaji Aliko Dangote towards advancing the renewable energy ambitions of Nigeria.
Building on the framework agreement signed earlier this year between Swiber Africa and GCL, Kalu and Gongshan explored ways to fast-track solar and wind projects, develop lithium resources strategically, create jobs locally, and bring vital technology transfers to strengthen Nigeria’s energy independence.
