Orange Group promotes dairy health across Nigeria

To mark World Milk Day 2025, Orange Group, a leading FMCG company in West Africa, has unveiled its nationwide campaign titled “Nourishing Naija.” The initiative is anchored by GINMIL, the company’s innovative milk-based beverage, and is designed to promote the health benefits of dairy among Nigerian communities.

Starting on June 1st, the campaign aligns with the global theme “Let’s Celebrate the Power of Dairy.” At its core is the recognition of milk as one of nature’s most complete foods—rich in proteins, calcium, and essential vitamins that support bone strength, immunity, and overall wellness.

Uchenna Ezenna, Media and Communications Director at Orange Group, describes GINMIL as more than a drink. “GINMIL represents our dedication to preserving milk’s legacy while innovating to meet the needs of modern Nigerian lifestyles. It supports immunity, digestion, and everyday nourishment—one sip at a time.” The “Nourishing Naija” campaign uses a multi-platform strategy to engage, educate, and celebrate dairy nutrition across the country. In major cities, Orange Group will roll out interactive milk booths offering free GINMIL samples and educational materials on milk’s nutritional value. These activations aim to encourage healthier food choices and deeper understanding of dairy’s role in well-being.

Online, the campaign invites Nigerians to take part in a #GinmilNourishNaija recipe contest, encouraging the public to share innovative ways they include GINMIL in meals.

The contest will spotlight local creativity and promote GINMIL as a versatile product that fits seamlessly into everyday routines.

To deepen public knowledge, the campaign also includes a week-long digital series featuring nutrition experts and health influencers. Through live sessions and informational content, they will explore milk’s benefits, including its support for bone health and the immune system. These sessions offer practical tips for integrating dairy into a balanced diet.

With GINMIL, Orange Group delivers a product that merges tradition with convenience, offering a modern way for Nigerians to reconnect with the nourishing power of milk. Through “Nourishing Naija,” the company is reaffirming its commitment to health, wellness, and community empowerment.
