The Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN), led by the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and Chairman of OPSN, Dr. Jani Ibrahim, is set to lead a high-level private sector delegation to Türkiye.

The engagement follows President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent state visit to the Republic of Türkiye, during which several bilateral Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and cooperation agreements were signed.

The delegation will engage Turkish private sector leaders, chambers of commerce, and relevant institutions to translate the signed agreements into bankable projects, commercial partnerships, and measurable economic outcomes.

According to NACCIMA, the engagement, scheduled to hold from February 10 to 12, will support effective implementation of the MoUs across priority areas such as trade and investment, education and higher education, halal quality infrastructure, media and communications, diaspora cooperation, women and social development, defence cooperation, and the newly established Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO).

The mission is designed as an execution-focused platform to align Nigerian enterprises with Turkish counterparts, unlocking opportunities in manufacturing, services, skills development, accreditation systems, and inclusive enterprise growth. It will place strong emphasis on converting policy commitments into practical frameworks that stimulate investment flows, job creation, technology transfer, and export expansion.

The initiative further reinforces OPSN’s role as a key economic partner to the government, advancing proactive economic diplomacy and ensuring that the outcomes of President Tinubu’s visit deliver lasting value to Nigerian businesses and the national economy.
