From Noah Ebije, Kaduna
The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Zango Kataf Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Comrade Danjuma Sarki, says opposition parties will unseat the All Progressives Congress in 2027.
Speaking to Daily Sun, he accused the APC led administration of deepening poverty, hunger and insecurity, particularly in the North. He claimed its reforms benefit a privileged few rather than ordinary citizens.
Sarki cited reported kidnappings and attacks around Millennium City and Mahuta in Kaduna State. He warned that residents increasingly live in fear, and that insecurity and hardship could erode public confidence in the ruling party.
He declined to disclose the opposition’s strategies, calling them confidential. He said parties were quietly engaging voters at the grassroots rather than relying on political noise and public demonstrations.
Sarki also accused the ruling party of using intimidation and violence to discourage voters, and voiced concern over possible electoral manipulation. He said the opposition was preparing to ensure that votes count.
