AiFlix360 Films, an AI-powered filmmaking studio owned by Dr. Ope Banwo, has recorded a landmark achievement on the global cinema stage having won four major awards at the 2026 Nawada International Film Festival Awards (NIFFA) in India.

The prestigious ceremony, which held last week, drew filmmakers and industry stakeholders from across the world. The multiple wins mark a defining moment not only for AiFlix360 Films, but also for the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven film production.

Competing against thousands of entries from different continents, the studio emerged victorious in four key categories including Documentary, Animation, Foreign Film, and Feature Film, underscoring the growing acceptance and creative potential of artificial intelligence in cinematic storytelling.

At the festival, Wakanda Is Real secured the award for Best Documentary Film, standing out for its compelling narrative and innovative visual treatment. In the Animation category, Detty December claimed the top prize, blending vibrant storytelling with AI-assisted animation techniques.

The film, Guardians of Naija, was recognised as Best Foreign Film, while Talent Hunt, also directed by Dr. Banwo, won the award for Best Feature Film, completing an impressive sweep for the studio.

According to the festival organisers, more than 2,300 films were submitted from over 80 countries, highlighting the competitiveness of the event and the significance of AiFlix360 Films’ success.

In his reaction, Ope Banwo, Founder and Director of AiFlix360 Films, described the awards as a powerful validation of AI-first filmmaking. He noted that the wins demonstrate that artificial intelligence is no longer a novelty in cinema, but a credible tool for producing high-quality, emotionally resonant films.

“These awards are a loud confirmation that AI movies are not a gimmick; they represent a serious new frontier in filmmaking,” he said. “At AiFlix360, we are proving that with a clear creative vision, disciplined storytelling, and the right AI production workflow, it is possible to deliver world-class cinematic experiences faster, smarter, and with bold creative range.”

AiFlix360 Films specialises in AI-driven film production, integrating story architecture, cinematic direction, voice performance design, AI-assisted animation, and advanced post-production workflows. The studio’s approach is designed to meet the demands of modern audiences while maintaining strong narrative depth and cinematic ambition.

The four-award triumph positions AiFlix360 Films as a standout name in the emerging global movement of AI-powered cinema. More importantly, it reinforces the studio’s mission to build a new, African-led pipeline for scalable, high-quality film production, one that leverages advanced AI tools without compromising creativity, cultural authenticity, or storytelling excellence.
