The residents of Akpaka in Onitsha North local government area of Anambra state have commended the Senator representing Anambra North senatorial district, Stella Adaeze Oduah for the provision of solar streetlights in the area.
The streetlights installation was in continuation of the over 100 streetlights provided across the seven local government area of the zone.
Some of the residents Chief Gilson Omenka, Chief Nnamdi Ojike, Mr. Uchechi Aruah and Dr. Chika Okwudi described Senator Oduah as woman of light who brought light of development to Anambra North.
“Senator Oduah has not only represented Anambra North well through her positive legislation, But she also provided the people Anambra with enormous opportunities.
“As a representative of the people Senator Oduah has facilitated and attracted many viable projects in Anambra North, in order to reinvigorate education, healthcare services, and other sectors and to fast track sustainable and social economic development in the zone.
“As part of her fulfilment on the Mandate to the people of Anambra North, She has Provided and Installed over 100 Stands of solar streetlights which were distributed across the 7 LGA of Anambra North” Chief Omenka stated.
“These Solar Streetlights will enhance security and tackle socio-economic challenges of the people of the zone considering the importance of light to human, community and societal development.
“Senator Oduah has gone a long way in giving adequate hope to the people of Anambra North. The people of the Anambra North senatorial district has remained her focal point in all her activities and actions in the National Assembly.
“In her effort to touch the lives of the common people at the Grassroots level, Our Senator has sponsored and Installed these Solar Streetlights in almost all the communities in the 7 LGA of Anambra North” said Ojike.
“These development is verifiable. We have the list of the communities in Anambra North that benefitted from the Solar Streetlights provided and stalled by our lovely hardworking Senator
“We the residents of Akpaka have extolled the good works of the Distinguished Senator especially within their locality. We couldn’t curtail our joy, we will continue to pray for Distinguished Senator for Gods blessing and success in forthcoming election.
“The Distinguished Senator installed solar streetlights in some roads in the layout. We all know what light does in darkness. At night, these streetlights restore the confidence of commuters and passersby while plying the roads.
“Those traders who make ends meet by displaying their wares at night now make more sales courtesy of the solar streetlights installed by the Distinguished Senator. We should all vote Senator Stella Oduah to continue with her good work” Dr. Okwudi stated.
