The 25 Community Relations Officers (CROs) of Cross River State, led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Relations, Hon. Ada Charles Egwu on Wednesday, celebrated Governor Prince Otu’s one-year anniversary in office with a grand event.
The celebration, hosted by the Community Relations Officer of Etung LGA, Victoria Njar, brought together all 25 CROs from across the state, along with traditional rulers, women’s groups, and pressure groups.
The event, which was a vibrant display of unity and support for Governor Otu’s administration, featured various activities to commemorate the milestone.
One of the highlights was the cutting of the anniversary cake, symbolizing the shared commitment of the CROs and the community to the governor’s vision and development agenda.
In her address, Hon. Ada Charles praised Governor Otu’s leadership, highlighting his dedication to improving the lives of the people of Cross River State.
She commended the CROs for their hard work and urged them to continue their efforts in building strong and sustainable communities.
The celebration also provided an opportunity for the CROs to interact with traditional rulers, women’s groups, and pressure groups, fostering closer ties and collaboration for the development of the state.
