Grammy-winning singer Ciara and her husband, former NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, are expanding their family after announcing that they are expecting another child.
The couple shared the pregnancy news in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, accompanied by photographs and videos showing Ciara, 40, with her growing baby bump.
“One more person to Love,” they captioned the announcement.
In one of the photos, Ciara and Wilson posed outdoors beside four shirts hanging from a clothesline, with a blank baby onesie signalling the arrival of another member of the family.
The couple also held up five fingers in another photo, appearing to mark the forthcoming arrival as baby number five for Ciara.
Ciara and Wilson already have three children together — daughters Sienna Princess and Amora Princess, and son Win Harrison.
The singer is also mother to Future Zahir, her son from a previous relationship with rapper Future.
The new baby will therefore be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Wilson, whom she married in 2016.
The pregnancy announcement comes as Ciara continues to combine her music career with motherhood. In a 2024 interview with PEOPLE, she spoke about bringing her children along while touring.
“My kids travelled with me, and I couldn’t have done it any other way,” she said, according to The Times of India.
Reflecting on the experience, the singer added, “It was the most amazing time with my babies. I was like, ‘This is what life is about.’ So, the little joys in life. I’m so grateful.”
Wilson, 37, retired from professional football in June following a 14-season career in the NFL.
The couple’s latest announcement marks another milestone for their blended family as they prepare to welcome their newest addition.
