The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in Ondo State has hailed the appointment of Mrs Caroline Wuraola Adepoju as the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The association described the appointment of Mrs Adepoju who is an indigene of Ondo State as a well deserved honour done the women folk and Ondo State in particular.
In a statement by the chairperson of the association, Mrs Tola Gbadamosi, the women journalists expressed confidence in the ability of the new NIS boss to lead effectively.
The statement reads “Your unwavering focus, diligence and commitment to work over the years have earned you this great and remarkable achievement.
“Ondo State is indeed proud of you and the women folk in the state are more than impressed with this great feat which is a testament of your years of hardwork. We are glad that women are making exploits too.
“Ondo State chapter of NAWOJ wishes you continued success and fulfillment in all your future endeavors and encourages you not to relent but remain steadfast and diligent as more wins await you,” the statement added.
