The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it will on Tuesday, October 15, present the soft copies of the register of voters to the 18 political parties sponsoring candidates for the Ondo state governorship election scheduled for Saturday, November 16.
The electoral umpire disclosed this in a statement shared on X on Monday, October 15.
According to the statement, this aligns with the Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the election.

“The presentation will take place at our State office in Akure on Tuesday 15th October 2024 at 10.00 am.
“Chairmen of Political Parties, their Secretaries and candidates are invited to attend,” the commission said.
For the November 16 election, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will face opposition from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Agboola Ajayi, Labour Party (LP)’s Sola Ebiseni, among others.
