Mebinone Asogbon Support Group has thrown its weight behind the incumbent governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s bid to continue a new term as the governor of the state in the upcoming governorship election.
The group stated this at a zoom meeting put together to promote the image and ideology of Aiyedatiwa, who is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Expressing readiness for the November 16 polls, the group said all hands must be on deck to ensure Aiyedatiwa’s victory. The group unfolded several agendas which included nominations of a five-man committee per ward and other strategies capable of inspiring their candidate to victory.
Akinbulejo Obadare Elija said the group would not relent in its quest to support the candidate. He further highlighted Aiyedatiwa’s qualities, while promising solidarity on behalf of other members of the group.
Ifeloju Jomiloju said members would be provided with materials and gadgets while weekly meetings would be staged to ensure their goals and objectives were achieved.
On September 27, the group observed a mega rally at the Atijere area of the state.
