A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and Coordinator of the BTO House-to-House Network in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo, Prince Emmanuel Aderosoye Fadola, has called for responsible and issue-based political engagement ahead of the 2027 polls.
He urged political actors and supporters to focus on constructive engagement and verifiable achievements rather than resorting to campaigns of calumny, personal attacks and misinformation.
Speaking on the performance of the administration of President Bola Tinubu, he highlighted what he described as key achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda and urged Nigerians to assess the administration based on its policies, reforms and impact on citizens.
He recalled that during the 2023 presidential campaign, President Tinubu acknowledged that difficult and bold decisions would be required to reposition the Nigerian economy and lay the foundation for sustainable growth.

According to him, the outcomes of several reforms are becoming increasingly visible in critical sectors of the economy and social development which includes NELFUND Student Loan Scheme, National Credit Guarantee Company, Agricultural Mechanization, Renewed Hope Infrastructure Fund, Renewed Hope Cities and Estates, Health and Education Revitalization and Youth Empowerment and Welfare.
Fadola, therefore, called on APC members, supporters and the electorate across Idanre/Ifedore to embrace issue-based politics and communicate the administration’s programmes and achievements at the grassroots.
He emphasised that political campaigns should be centred on facts, policies, development and the welfare of the people.
“We must sell achievements, not insults. The Renewed Hope Agenda is working. Let us go house-to-house and tell the story of progress.”
He further urged party members to remain focused, disciplined and committed to peaceful political engagement as the country moves towards the 2027 general elections.
