Former Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee, Ondo State, Comrade Tobiloba Joshua Oluwarotimi, has been appointed as Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
In a chat with Daily Sun, Oluwarotimi described the appointment as a call to higher service and expressed gratitude to the governor for the confidence reposed in him.
He said his experience as NANS JCC Chairman, which he concluded a year ago, strengthened his commitment to leadership and service.
“A year ago, I concluded my service as Chairman of the NANS Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Ondo State. That experience strengthened my commitment to leadership, service, and the aspirations of our people.
“Today, I am deeply grateful to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for appointing me as one of his appointees and entrusting me with the responsibility of serving as a Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor. Your Excellency, thank you for your confidence and for giving me this opportunity to serve our dear state,” he added.
He said he accepts the responsibility with humility and pledged to serve with integrity, dedication and loyalty.
“I accept this responsibility with humility and a sincere commitment to serve the people of Ondo State with integrity, dedication, and loyalty. I am ready to support the Governor’s vision and contribute to the continued progress and development of our communities,” Oluwarotimi stated.
He thanked supporters who encouraged him through his student leadership journey and promised to honour their support through hard work.
“This is a new chapter and another opportunity to answer the call to serve. I step forward with gratitude, determination, and faith, ready to give my very best to Ondo State,” the governor’s aide added.
