Mothers are priceless jewels that can’t be compared with anything. The love, care, attention, prayers, among others they provide for their children is something one can’t just get on a platter. For Olakunle ‘Ice K’ Tomomewo, the half of popular duo group, Artquake, he believes this about his beloved mother, Mama Janet Wura Tomomemo. For a woman who lost her husband 50 years ago and was left to take care of their eight young kids (all boys) —and several other kids living with her and her late husband, she is indeed a super heroine to Ice K. The music star looks for every opportunity to celebrate her. And one of those opportunities was when she turned 90th on Saturday 20 April.
Ice K and all his siblings spared no cost and left no stone unturned to celebrate their mother’s milestone birthday celebration. There was an army of music and comedy stars in attendance to thrill scores of celebrities who stormed the carnival-like party held at the De Orange Event Hall, in Oko Oba, Lagos.
