The Nigeria Police Force has appointed, a technology expert, Moses Oladimeji, as the Lagos State Chairman of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV).
His appointment, based on the recommendation of the outgoing chairman, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, who is now Patron for POCACOV, was formally conveyed by the National Coordinator of the initiative, ACP Olabisi Oluseyi Okuwobi.
A visionary leader, strategist, and social impact advocate, Oladimeji brings a wealth of experience to this role. He is the Founder and CEO of Modemy Learning Hub, an innovative online platform offering specialised courses for creatives, and Wall Spaces, an e-commerce marketplace for premium art prints that connects artists with buyers. With over a decade of leadership experience spanning education, business, and community engagement, he has been at the forefront of initiatives that drive transformation and empower individuals.
As the Lagos State Chairman of POCACOV, Oladimeji will be responsible for overseeing and implementing community-driven programs aimed at combating cultism and other social vices. His duties will include providing strategic leadership, fostering stakeholder collaboration, and working closely with the South West Zonal Chairman, the Police Coordinator, and other key partners to promote preventive policing.
In his acceptance letter, Oladimeji expressed deep gratitude for the appointment, describing it as a “personal ministry and divine calling.”
“This role is more than just an official responsibility for me—it is a mission to change lives, rehabilitate those once lost to cultism, and reintegrate them into society in a meaningful way. With passion, resilience, and collective effort, I am confident that we will make great strides in securing our communities and protecting our youth,” he said.
POCACOV is a nationwide initiative of the Nigeria Police Force dedicated to tackling cultism and other social vices through preventive policing and community engagement. With Oladimeji’s leadership, the programme in Lagos State is expected to gain fresh momentum, driving impactful reforms and fostering a safer society.
