Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo’s appointment of Johnson Jubril Adamu as his Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, has excited Edo indigenes
Speaking on behalf of some Edo indigenes, Benjamin Oziegbe, in a statement yesterday, said the appointment is a testament to Adamu’s dedication to humanity, compassion, integrity, and lifelong commitment to uplifting the common people.
Oziegbe, who is also the Manager of The Legit News, claimed that Adamu has consistently stood with the people, lending his voice, time, and energy to causes that bring hope to the hopeless and comfort to the less privileged, adding that his journey has inspired many across Edo State and beyond.
He said: “Prior to his appointment, Hon. Johnson Adamu served as Coordinator of the Edo Must Build Edo Initiative (EMBEI), a support group duly acknowledged by the National Working Committee of the ruling party.
“The group was established to mobilize, sensitize, and engage the Edo people towards active participation in politics and governance, with a strong commitment to the values and progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress.
“This appointment, effective October 27, 2025, is a testament to Hon.. Adamu’s unwavering dedication to humanity, compassion, integrity, and lifelong commitment to uplifting the common people.
