The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has approved the nomination of five persons for appointment as members of the Edo State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
The nominees are Dr Shittu H. Shaibu, Chairman; Engr. Inegbedion Oria Thomas, member; Abdulrazak Abubakar, member; Engr. Alex Edomwonyi Onaiwu, member; and Patrick Eromosele Iluobe, Esq., member.
The Secretary to the Edo State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., said in a statement on Friday:

“The nominations of these distinguished professionals underscore the commitment of Governor Monday Okpebholo to assembling a team of competent and experienced individuals to provide effective regulation of the electricity sector in Edo State.
“Their names will be forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation,” the statement added.
