Okorocha takes oath of office in Senate

Former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, on Thursday took his oath of office as Senator in the National Assembly. Okorocha was sworn in at about 10:35 am.

Addressing newsmen afterwards, the new lawmaker said his mission as Senator is to promote the “Igbo agenda” and ensure that the South East is brought into the mainstream of Nigerian politics.
