Henry Chekwube Okafor (aka Ike Jerusalem), CEO, Multiple Hems World Accessories, has been appointed Global Ambassador for Peace under the United Nations Social Development Goals (SDG) Programme and Africa Relief Emergency.

Kingsley Amafibe, International Peace Ambassador, United Nations representative said: “We are honouring a man whom we believe has shown capacity, strength, courage, has liberated people and contributed to the development of the society.

“He always wants to put smiles on the faces of people. We encourage him to do more for people. People like him with the capacity to help the less privileged in society should not hesitate to do so because life is for the living and life is for people.”

United Nations Representative, Uchenna Simon, said the new ambassador has encouraged a lot of people and we urge him to do more. He should not relent on his oars. He has been doing a lot to help people but he didn’t know that people are recognising what he is doing.  He has encouraged alot of people and we encourage him to keep doing more good works.

We know that the government cannot do everything in helping its citizens but people like him have taken the responsibility to bridge the gap in the society.

Ifeoma Okeke, Nollywood filmmaker, said the new Ambassador “has touched the lives of over 1,000 widows. As individuals, we all need peace and when we have peace, we will give peace out because peace rules the world. He has done a lot of things that has brought development and progress in society.”

Okafor responded: “Being a Peace Ambassador, it is all about the world organising for peace. It stands for peace and those who believe in peace and the world recognises that person.

“I am grateful to God for making today possible. The United Nations has recognised my philanthropy in helping the less privilege in the society. I will continue to help the less privilege and put smiles on their faces.”
