He earned an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting from the Yaba College of Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ambrose Alli University. Shortly after, he launched his business career in 1995 with the establishment of Bash Distinct Oil. His first filling station in Obalende berthed in 1996 in partnership with Agip, marked the beginnings of what would become a formidable presence in the oil and gas sector. Under his leadership, Bash Distinct Oil expanded rapidly and today boasts of over 50 retail stations nationwide. His portfolio further extends into agriculture with 2B5M Limited, as well as real estate through High Link Royal Castle Development and a dredging company.

Despite his demanding schedule, Fakorede is passionate about living life fully and embracing new experiences. In the demonstration of his commitment to further self-improvement, last year, the business magnate enrolled for a master’s degree programme in Business and Entrepreneurship at Northumbria University, Newcastle. Critics questioned his decision to pursue this programme despite his wealth, but Fakorede’s resilience and desire for personal growth proved to be his guiding principles.
On Monday, September 8, Fakorede celebrated a significant milestone: his Master’s Degree convocation ceremony at the Central Hall, Westminster, in Central London. Dressed in a full Aso-Oke Danshiki and Kembe, to showcase his cultural heritage proudly, Fakorede took the stage amidst cheers and applause from family and friends who rejoiced in his accomplishments.
Following the ceremony, Fakorede later hosted an extravagant after-party at his London home with scores of esteemed figures in attendance. His wife, Tayo, was also at hand to ensure that every guest was treated to an experience worthy of royalty.
