Ohom Orba youths have pledged their unalloyed support to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State during a recent visit to the Lion Building to show appreciation for what he has done for the people of Orba, Nsukka and Enugu State at large.
The group used the occasion to express their total support for Gov. Ugwuanyi’s senatorial bid and other PDP candidates of the state in the forthcoming general elections.
The Ohom Orba youths were led on the visit by Engr Onyema Odo, who is also the coordinator of the group’s campaign activities in support of Governor Ugwuanyi’s aspiration.
Giving a brief account of the efforts made so far in campaigning for PDP in their community, the group disclosed some of its strategic undertakings of the past few weeks including empowerments and a Christmas support program in the community on the 23rd December 2022, the follow-up door-to-door campaign that is still ongoing and the 29th January 2023 Ohom Orba Youth Congress which commenced with a mega rally and a solidarity walk and ended with voter Sensitization which was the first of its kind in the community.
Engr Onyema Odo, giving his account, stated that the elders of the community were happy with the youths’ initiatives and had given assurances of their total commitment to ensuring victory for Gov Ugwuanyi and other PDP candidates in Enugu at the forthcoming polls.
