Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide DMV USA chapter has expressed shock over the death of President General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.
It said his death is not only shocking and devastating but has also put spanner on the numerous unfinished projects he recently outlined that will bring immeasurable benefits to the larger society.
A statement by Dr Hyacinth Nwachukwu, chairman, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide DMV USA Chapter, and Dr. Peter Egwom, Secretary General, identified Chief Iwuanyanwu as not only a patriot but also a bridge builder, an elder statesman, and a legend whose desire for justice, equity, progress and peaceful co-existence of Nigerians is not questionable.
“Apart from being a frontline politician, he was an entrepreneur of note whose businesses not only stimulated the growth of our national economy but also created employment for our teeming youths.
“The entire Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and all peace loving Nigerians will surely miss his deep thoughts on how to make Nigeria work,” the statement said.
