The Ekiti State chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his victory in the just-concluded governorship election in the state.
In a congratulatory letter signed by the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ekiti State, High Chief Alex Ndubuisi, the group described the governor’s victory as a reflection of the confidence the people of Ekiti have in his leadership and developmental strides.
The letter read: “Your victory is a clear testament to the confidence the good people of Ekiti have in your visionary leadership, dynamic governance, and unwavering commitment to delivering results.
“The peaceful conduct of the election further underscores Ekiti’s reputation as a state of political maturity and democratic decorum.”

The group also disclosed that the Igbo community in the state actively participated in the electoral process and commended Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive style of governance.
“Ndigbo in Ekiti State are proud to have participated in this democratic process. We commend your inclusive style of governance and pledge our continuous support as partners in progress for the development of the state,” the statement read.
The group also prayed for divine guidance and strength for the governor as he begins a new term in office.
“As you begin this new term, we pray for God’s wisdom, strength, and good health upon you and your administration. We look forward to deeper collaboration that will ensure all communities in Ekiti, including the Ndigbo, continue to thrive under your leadership,” the letter added.
